Animals, animals and bloody freezing!

Well, we didn't end up at Mount Augustus (too far) or Wooleen Station (both had colds and there was a mosquito virus alert for the area), so we decided to head closer to home, near Toodyay about half an hour from my mates farm.

We found a place on an app "Hipcamps", where folks who have private property or a farm can offer tent/caravan sites to the public. We chose "Sandalwood Down's Farm stay" as they have lots of rescued animals roaming around the campsites (as you will see). It was a great place, except you couldn't have campfires at the campsites because of the animals, but there was a communal fire pit area where all the campers would gather together in the evenings an burn marsh mellows (no smoores here). Unfortunately the nights and early mornings were freezing getting as low as zero degrees celcius.! Normally we are quite warm in our tent, but it was too cold for Beth. Hence I ended up taking Beth home instead of us going over to Mukinbudin (about 3 hours further inland, which would have been just as cold), and I continued on to the "Dryandra State Forest", which you will see in part 2 of this vlog.

Thanks for watching and staying in touch., I think you will enjoy this one.

Dingo
